About the project

Companies committed into the project covers the entire Visit Arctic Europe area. The whole Northern Scandinavian tourism industry cluster is represented; various transportation companies, accommodation sector, activity suppliers, restaurants, cultural attractions, infrastructure and marketing organizations. Size wise the variety is from small family owned businesses to big hotel chains.
Our aim is to create unforgettable Arctic Experiences for You:

Finnish and Swedish Lapland and North Norway combine their marketing expertise
The goal is to increase the numbers of visitors within the common region – the Arctic part of Europe
The funding totaling 6,4 million EUR is divided among the three project partners
Visit Arctic Europe has been awarded EU funding through Interreg Nord 2014-2020
The cross-border project is operating from 2015-08-01 until 2018-03-31.
This is a groundbreaking project with plenty of potential.
